i was thinking for sheikh babikr based in crickwood...north london -

what i what is someone to help me on spiritual path to get me and my wife closer to allah, someone who speaks english, and just can be there for support and advice, offer advice on daily dhikr to do...help with increasing iman, and be there as support for trials and tribualtions that come my way. I just think that making bayah is a good idea to have a teacher to life journey to Allah...

Sheikh Ahmed Babakir (as far as I know) hasn't got zillions of mureeds like some Sheikh's

so InshaAllah if you ask around for a number or email to contact him on you may be sucessful Inshaallah.

when you speak to him explain why you want a Sheikh and InshaAllah he will will take you as a student or refer you to someone else

a lot of Sheikhs like you to start on the path for a while before you make bayyah so don't expect that you will definitely do it straight away

I am afraid that i wont be able to make a commitment so i think if i can make a gradual move will be best inshallah...

someone also recommended saleem dhorat, but him based in leicster.. seems a little too much as I dont travel much..

is it possible to still get help and support without making bayah...?

It depends on the Sheikh and the tareeqa

you need to be up front about what level of commitment you want to make
