Posts should have a complain button next to them so you can complain and flag it up for the moderators to decide what to do about it. I know moderators are busy and not watching all threads all the time...so this would send an email alert to them to look at it. However this has the potential of being abused.
they already do brother its the black triangle with an exclamation mark in the bottom left hand corner of each post

[QUOTE=pluto;806370]

This is just a humble suggestion, if you start a thread on every brainwave you get (you've all the right to, of-course) how is it possible for members to have a really productive discussion, so I humbly suggest, please start a topic after giving a fair amount of time for the previous topic to stay alive, in my opinion 2-3 days until and unless its something very important [obituaries etc] , have a look at the Rambo Thread
I hope we all understand
[/QUOTE

wow, reading the posts in this thread, I think maybe this site should be named Anti-shiaForum.com, instead of SunniForum.com.

I think the mods should do a better job in controlling the anti shia sentiments on this forum.. this is not dawah. Yes, this is Sunni Forum, but that does not mean one can simply say bad things about the Shias.. regardless if they have said something back.

I Agree its not Dawah its Gangsta Dawah! like to tell all the brethren out their that we get all kinds of people visit this forum from all kinds of background, many
are just curious to know what sunnis believe and what the sunni viewpoint is. So brethren lets behave with Adaab and Ikhlaq rather then Gangstas.

Gangsta Dawah???

Salaam.

Ever experienced it?, Delivered it? Or been on the receiving end of it?

Young brother gains newfound enthusiasm, and suddenly being overcome with Zeal, starts condemning everyone. And rather then attracting people towards the deen, starts repelling them.

The wife starts wondering what happened to my Loving Husband.

The Parents start wondering what became of our doting son.

The children are puzzled why daddy is so Angry and Harsh all the time.

The friends start thinking he must be on crack, or that premium grade Hash , his turned into a hardcore Fundy (Fundamentalist).

Even more strange are the Brethren who practically alienate everyone Family, friends work colleuges etc. But insist " Bro I am speaking the Truth, If People can't Handle It, thens its not my Problem"

The moderators can get busy in their lives too, so we should give them some relief, however a non-Deobandi adherent to a school of thought, may be a good option as well, since it is ''sunniforum.com''.

No! the onus is on the Brethren who are posting to behave with proper etiquette, it should not require the moderators to keep reminding them.

And as previously stated by brother Amr, Allah commanded Hazrat Musa to preach to Pharoah with kind words.

Anti-Shi'a sentiment exists as a response, not as the default. There have been way too many times when a Shi'a has come on this forum and flung insults at the sahaba and the pure wives , and a lot of times, he has done so under taqiyyah. A recent example is that of "شيخ المخفي" who claimed to be a Hanafi and was recently outed as a Shi'a when the veil of his taqiyya became thin, forcing him to turn tail and run from these forums.

Yes but should not every person be treated as an individual and on merit or de-merit bases. Rather immediately making assumption that every single shia visiting the forum is here to hurl insults or do Taqiyyah.

@ bro pluto,

You can come to my location to get some lobsters. We don't eat them but give them to our Shafi'i brethren.
