![]() I think youtube is a very good way to call people to Islam outside the Muslim community. Is anyone here an active member of SF and also does youtube videos and dawah. Muslims who have an audience are on youtube unfortunately for entertainment purposes and not engaged in dawah. Its the most underutilized dawah platform. I had read that the youtube audience numbers a billion people now. Do people here, many of whom seem to be quite confident in their Islamic knowledge intend to propagate Islam on youtube. If not why not - when its an open channel where millions of non-muslims come. There are ofcourse hundreds of channels where Islamic scholarly videos and speeches are posted. But what about individual da'ees. They also make great impact. As an example brother Converted2Islam - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HydX9kkYaU does a very good job and I am sure he is making a very good impact on the youtube dawah scene. Other channels of individual da'ees - very very limited amount - A shame for Ummat e Rasul http://www.youtube.com/user/Newf2islam http://www.youtube.com/user/aboayoub http://www.youtube.com/user/SamiZaatari http://www.youtube.com/user/dawahaddict So its been 8 years since sunni forum emerged and seven years since youtube emerged. It seems after nearly 722,000 posts no sunniforum member has participated in this dawah platform of nearly a billion people audience. Why is that when many members here posting are quite confident and sure about their Islamic knowledge? ![]() |
