I need to know if there are any Deobandi's currently withing naqshbandi haqqani order. really starting to wonder.

there were one or two Deobandi adhered laymen who followed Sheikh Nazim at one time, however Sheikh Nazim (may Allah bless him with health and guide him) encourages asking the assistance of dead Sheikhs (or did at one time) so his teachings are contrary to those of Darul Uloom Deoband.

I guess we can eat pork, drink alcohol, trade in usury, etc. because these actions don't break our wudhu either.

Sheikh Nazim is a very old, very ill, ver weak and frail man. Have some mercy on him.

Maybe he would have made an answer that you would have preferred if he was younger and healthier, but he is on and off his deathbed nowadays and that does not always give someone a clear mind.

I am not asking anyone to endorse his eccentricities, just to leave him alone. If you must find someone's faults then look at his representative Hisham Kabanni to see what you dislike about him, as at least he has the strength and life left in him to respond.

If we have a problem with Sheikh Nazim it is better (under the circumstances) to pray that Allah guides him according to what we believe is correct and that he guides his followers to that also.

Agreed Allah forgive me! and in the interest of fairness I would also like to point that there are two main Branches of the Haqqani Tariqah, and they have a differences between them there are those who belong to Shaykh Hashim Kabbanis which is very controversial and has presence on the internet and there are those who belong to Shaykh Abdul Karim Kebresi which is far more sober and disassociates itself from the Kabanni group and also diagree with many of their practices.They have far smaller presence on the net so people automatically assume that Shaykh Kabbani is the main and only Khilaafah of Shaykh Nazim.

his son has been visiting the Naqshabandi Haqqanis in differen't places, maybe he is being prepared for this. Otherwise there are several possible figures (maybe Adnan Kabbani). The Hisham Kabbani fans believe that it will be him though.

Abdul Kerim Efendi (Kibrisi) passed away recently. It will go to Kabbani. I have nothing but bad words for this man who covorts around with Neo-Cons and casts aspersions on muslims in America.

I also think the Nazim has just about gone mad and I do not mean that to tease him in any way. It looks like old age is doing a number on him, poor guy.

I personally do not approve of this bashing of a Humble and Rightous Shaykh......who devoted his life to Islam.
Most obviously he has more Ilm(knowledge) then any of us.
I am ashamed on how people forget their manners, If we do not agree with him we should not be bashing him or calling him mad nonetheless. Jazakullah, the first couple of replies answered my question but has gotten out of hand with the Kissing the hand issue, Let it be known their is conflict of opinion on whether it does or does not break the wudu through out different madhabs. Shafi'i madhab being known to be strict on this view of it breaking wudu...while the Maliki-Hanbali madhab accords it to intention and the hanafi madhab goes along the lines of if Lust is involved it will break but their is a difference of opinion on the matter. I remember reading a fatwa by abdullah bin bayyah saying of the Hanafi madhab that the basic principle is not to touch women but at times it may be allowed.

From what Im hearing Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani has already Named his son the New leader...and if anyone wants to visit Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Al-Haqqani to do baya they do it through his son thier...Allahu3lam. I might be wrong.
