i wasnt aware how salafis are about hanafis unti;l yesterday when i was at a gathering and as usual the salafis wanted to know who i get my knowledge from bla bla when i told them what my teacher had studied they said oh yea she is a "hanafi" (and she really isn't) but i said to them she wasn't and so what if she was doesthat mean she's on the wrong path that she might follow one of the great madhabs subanaAllah i was very schocked by this... and after that when i left i went to salam the sister and she woldnt shake my hand.

Not all Salafis are anti Hanafi
I am not
the Salafis who attack Hanafis a lot are a minority, I personally haven't met any of them until I started posting in forums, but not in real life so far.

and I believe they are mostly ahl hadith from the subcontinent , wallahu alam.

The Shaykh's name is Abul Hasan, not Abu Hasan. Abu Hasan is someone else.

Its amazing how Brother Ozgur Islam is within this 20 pg article If he is reading.. JazakAllah for nagging all the Ulama that, that some of them end up producing such master pieces...

BTW those who do not know.. the "Turkish Fellow based in Holland" is 95-99% Ozgur, since we all know his zeal to dig deep in hanafi-salafi writings...

Why is he banned? I will have to check that up, but I do agree that brothers continual probing into Anti Hanafi texts, and assertion on the credibility of those texts rather than the official Hanafi stances ticks many of those Ulema he send his questions to..

I admire him on his aspect of wanting to learn, yet I disagree on his crude methodology of attaining that learning.

Br. Ozgur, if in case you are reading this.. my humble invite is still there for you to make some sacrifice and come to Madrassah for systemic learning..
