Default Is exclaiming "Allah!" Sunnah?
As the subject please. If you are sitting in a social get together and someone exclaims "Allah!" out of the blue as a habit is it a Sunnah? I know someone who does this and was wondering?

Out of love perhaps. Or a heart that is remembering Allah and the person just exhales it a bit. Probably not sunnah but it is like a reflex reaction for a lover of Allah : )

Probably has to do more with the culture of the religious clique that he rolls with. In some cliques the "in" thing to exclaim is Yaa Rasoolullaah, or something else. I'm not saying that the person is showing off, just explaining why the certain words of exclamation are as you observed.

Disclaimer: I'm not denying that some people may genuinely be in a state of wajd. But, those in wajd are typically the exception and not the rule.

In some circles and cultures, saying "Allah!" as an exclamatory word is normal (not the "in" thing, but the same as saying "Wow!" in English).

I am reminded of the following hadeeth:
{قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم {الله الله في أصحابي لا تتخذوهم غرضا بعدي فمن أحبهم فبحبي أحبهم ومن أبغضهم فببغضي أبغضهم
Rasoolullah exclaims "Allah!" in this hadeeth as well.

This is what I intended to convey, but lacked your superior choice of words.

Can you translate that Hadith in English and state the source (Bukhari, Muslim, etc)?
