Collecting authentic Tafseer lectures
Assalamu Alaikum,
I'm collecting tafseer lectures (audio) by authentic scholars. I'm planning to put them all on one blog for easy access for everyone. These are the conditions. Scholar must be: 1) Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'h following a madhab 2) Studied at a traditional Islamic madrasa I have collected the lectures of these scholars so far. Please add any that are available for download on the net, even if it is tafseer of one surah. Any language is acceptable as long as the scholar is authentic and reliable. Please also share a short biography of the scholar, or a link to their biography. Akhi I'm not sure on this so perhaps the others could chime in if I'm wrong, but for tafseer I have been recommended the bayyinah series by nauman ali khan by quite a few people, haven't yet checked it out myself though yet.

especially Ml. Abu_Uzair, I never thought there were recording of Maulana Ghulamullah Khan Saheb's tafseer. Please add more as you find them. @Br. Sulaiman84, I don't think I'll be able to complete the notes. I do hope that others will chip in to that thread. By the way, I think you were looking for translation of the commentary of Hujjatullah Baligha. Sis, do you know about Mufti Shuaibullah Khan Miftahi [db] - he is a giant of a Scholar and easily among the top of the line Muftis in India - student of Maseeh ul ummah Hadrath Maseeullah Khan Saheb [rh] and Shaykh Abrar ul Huqq [rh] and Hazrat Meharbaan Ali Sahib [rh] of Badoth and Hazrat Faqihul Islam Hazrat Maulana Muzaffar Ali Hussain Sahib [rh] - author of more than 50 books [See this] on fiqh and others, also has a monthly Urdu & English mag. [I'll let you know later] and also a very pro-active Ulamah who's very active and fighting against the fitnah of ghayr muqallidinism plus never backs of saying the truth, even if any mistakes are done by our own people. He is also a member of the shura of Mazahir ul ulum, Saharanpur, U. P. But has a gawdy looking website which absolutely doesn't do any justice to his personality :-/ One of his magnum opus is a 650 page book titled: Daleel e Namaz whose Arabic translation will be published soon and At-tauheed ul khaalis and Fiqh e Islami aur ghayr muqallideen, many many more actually. He never comes on video [intentionally] or allows anyone to photograph him. He never even goes to Masjid's where...lets not go there. He is around 55 I think, and he is the final word on fiqh at his place, Bangalore. These are gems that we don't know, so I hope others will also contribute to this thread so that everyone can also benefit from such great scholars of our times. |

Yes his surah fatiha can be found, nowdays when he is doing dars the dars is about tafseer of the quran. The last time I visited for 'umrah and met the people who record his dars said that the tafseer should be finished in a year inshallah. |
