Eid Mubarak
 

Assalamualaikum wa rahamatullahi wa barakatuh,

For most people I am sure it is eid tomorow, so we have our families preparing for eid, brayni, gosht...you know what I mean. Not only that there are people putting mehendi.

But since ramadan is over I am making this thread to see how many people did how many khatam of quran. Inshallah we shall say al hamdullillah to the amount of khatam done and the amount used fully for Allah (swt) during ramadan. And do istighfar if we wasted even a second during the ramadan.

So please do share the number of khatam you have done.

And Eid Mubarak

Also please do share anything interesting that happened during ramadan. For example meeting a buzurg, seeing dream, special event e.t.c so that it can be a source of inspiration inshallah.

I guess no one is going to write eid mubarak the least they could do.

But I shall share "some" of the experiences during ramadan :

1 - Met moulana nazaru rahman (db) - Khalifa of khwaja Khan (ra)
2 - Met son of moulana nazaru rahman (db)
3 - Saw Hadhrat ferzon memon (db) in dream, khalifa of Moulana Hakeem Akhtar (db) through the baraka of my shaykh
4 - Saw my shaykh in the dream

So these are some of the things that happened, so anyone else would like to add, or atleast say eid mubarak?

Brother, this has the potential to be a "show-off thread" as whether someone did 0 khatams or 100 khatams, they did it for the sake of Allah http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/taala.gif and not to talk about it on SF...so I doubt anyone will respond to the poll (or at least I hope not for our own sake). If you make the poll anonymous, you will probably get many more responses.

This could be a reason why the poll is not getting many responses. Although, another reason could be embarrassment from letting other members know how few khatms one has completed. (in my case at least).
