The above statement is wrong. The person should continue reading salaah, have a big beard and continue with any other Islamic injunction but he must try and inculcate humanity into his heart. Following your line of reasoning should a person who does not have the quality of humanity start to drink alcohol, commit zina etc...??

This line of reasoning is a deception of Shaytaan in an attempt to take you away from the aspects that you are practising. Continue with what you are doing and expend the utmost effort in improving in the areas that you are lacking.

Our Foodbank Project is well under way.

Our first collection at Birmingham Central Masjid was held on the 20th July and we collected 252kg of food. That food has since been given to an organisation working with vulnerable women.

Our second collection on 27th July at Birmingham Central Mosque brought in 507kg of food. Masha Allah.

I request all brothers and Sisters to partake in this blessed opportunity.

Our goal is to create a central food bank where everyone can take from and it will be set up across the country inshallah.

Why can't the UWT have a section dedicated to this. It is all very well trying to raise money for deserving cause outside UK but one should not forget the muslims who are zakat deserving here in UK.
The likes of UWT have branches everywhere in UK and it is simple matter of reallocating little bit of their resources. If need be work with other organisation.

good suggestion. UWT do though actively support such initiatives. inshallah we hope to have a local qurbani appeal for eid adha. collected meat from locals in hackney doing udhiya will be collected and with it food such as biryani and other dishes will be made to give out to local (needy) muslims and homeless shelters - the project (if it gets off the ground) already has the backing of UWT. Im sure they'd be happy to support any similar local projects though in most cases they need locals to drive it forward and a clear well thought through plan put in place.

1) Huqooq ullah (Rights of Allah)
2) Huqooq ul-'Ibaad (Rights of Humans)

and Islam stresses on the importance of both equally.
