Will round 2 work as well as round 1 or could I mess myself up?
So, I had a great first round of HCG in November 2012. I went from 136 to 119 pounds. Stabilized really well at 122 and I've held it for 7 months (I've gone as high as 124, but always settle right back around 122 when I eat don't eat things I'm allergic to).
I'm starting round 2 next week for 2 reasons: 1. My goal is 110 pounds (I'm 5'0 tall, so that's perfectly reasonable), so when I level off afterwards I will be around 112 or 113 (since I seemed to have gained 3 pounds last time after injections). 2. I recently had ankle surgery and know that HCG has anti-inflammatory properties that could be beneficial to me right now. Is there any chance that a round 2 could mess up my success of round 1? Or does my success in round 1 mean I'll have the same or greater success in round 2? I'm planning a short round (26 days) and repeating everything I did the first time (except that was 31 days). Thoughts? |
It shouldn't mess up anything from your previous round. I don't see why it would if you stick to protocol. Most of us have a number of rounds under our belts. Each round is different, though, so you should still keep an eye out for anything you think may be causing stalls or gains. Good luck!

Uh oh ... why is round 2 tough, Missymom?
Yes, I'm shooting for 110 so I can go back up to 112 without worrying. That's thin enough! |

My Round 2 was WAY easier that my Round 1. I knew exactly what I was in for and I knew how to deal with the ups and downs and stalls. I didn't panic because I knew from round one how to deal with things. I lost just over 20lbs each round. I don't see any reason for your to have problems this round.

I thought round 2 was harder than round 1. The first round, I was excited about trying something new and completely focused on this diet. The second round, I was bored with it and just wanting to get to my goal, even though I knew I'd have to do 3-4 rounds. I think the lack of enthusiasm made it harder. I stabilized equally well in both rounds, and I lost slightly faster in R2 even though it felt slower.
