Default CRAMPS and haven't started TOM?????
Hi Ladies,

I wanted to ask if any of you had bad cramps before starting TOM? Did your TOM delay b/c of HCG shots?

I am on a 43 day round. I'm at .7 cc. I am late for TOM!! Which I am not on time each month... butttt... I've slowed my wight loss to .2 ounces (no change in food.) and I am bloating! But,my cramps are pretty bad. Last night I had to take some meds. I felt like I was having contractions in my back... No exaggg.

I haven't been able to call my my DH cousin, who is our doctor, in India b/c of the time change to see what he thinks???

I had absolutely no cramps for the first time while using hcg. But it does mess with your period in lots of ways. Some people skip periods, have them every two weeks, have them for a month, have unusual periods, have better or worse cramps, etc. It could be that, or it could be something you'd want to talk to a doctor about and not related to your period at all.

You really need to contact your DR straight away. HCG DOES NOT cause cramping in your uterus. While many women experience cramping during pregnancy- it is NOT from the hcg hormone!

Is there anyway you could be pregnant? hCG Can cause fluid retention and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome - which can cause cramping.

You really should speak with your Dr, as abdominal cramping is not a side effect of hcg.

That being said, cramping is a normal PMS symptom- a symptom you get BEFORE TOM arrive. However, if you've never gotten cramping as a PMS symptom and now suddenly are- I would call the Dr.

Thanks for the replies. I have talked to my doctor and went to my OBGYN. Everything looks GREAT! No problems.. the cramps stopped on there own???

I am VERY late this month...and I don't think I am going to start the TOM! I woke up this morning to another 2.8 lb weight decrease! I'm happy
