I have an unforeseen issue with my phase 2 -- I have come down sick! Darn those kids going back to school and spreading their germs around.
![]() Anyway, I'm not tolerating food well. This morning I chocked down an egg meal (the 1 whole + 3 whites) with some spinach, but didn't eat anything else the rest of the day. I thought I should eat something this evening but couldn't stomach meat. So I tried a "shake" with 5 frozen strawberries, ice, and 100 calories of my husband's whey protein powder. The powder only contains whey protein concentrate, vanilla, and stevia. This actually has stayed down ok so far. So what do I do going forward? I don't think I'm getting better for a few days at least. Is this meal reasonably ok or going to totally screw me up? Would it be better to just transition to phase 3 early? I never expected to do anything rogue this round, but I'm managing the best I can. |
