Hi again
![]() So I'm still on HCG (VLC day 15) and doing well. I am also still attending Weight Watchers. I have decided to stop the drops after day 20 (but do the additional 3 days VLC) because I'm losing hair and because my whole purpose for HCG was to engage in some major habit change. I'm basically below my WW goal weight and I need to strength train to firm up, etc. My question is: Should I eat the number of points I was eating when I was trying to lose or should I eat maintenance points (more)? I would still not mind losing until my body decides to stop, just by incorporating more calories and exercise while focusing on the habits I have started to forge while on HCG. However, does it mess with stabilizing if I am eating fewer than average calories? I would think that I'm at about 1200-1500 with my points for losing vs. the 1800 or so for maintenance. Thoughts? Thanks so much!! |

The biggest problem would be the difference in allowed foods between P3 and WW. Would you start by counting WWpts and just eating the P3 foods? The introduction of the carbs and such would mess up your stabilization. Even with controlled calories, you will gain back quickly if you do not allow for the P3 eating plan.
Congrats on hitting your WW goal! |

You need to do the minimum number of hcg days which is 23. Then you need to do 3 weeks of P3. Then you could probably try WW maintenance program for P4, but you might find you need to eat quite a bit more than they recommend. As I recall, my maintenance Points were always pretty low and got me to a calorie count of around 1500 each day. I eat a whole lot more than that now and am maintaining my loss. WW won't work for P3; you'll gain weight because it isn't enough food, fat or protein.
