Default Mushrooms?
I know that it's not on the original protocol but has anyone had success with eating mushrooms as their veggie on P2? I read on a revised version you could, but I am not sure if I should try!

I added them in to P3 but avoided them in P2, Mushrooms are in the fungus family, and you can gauge it's not being allowed by looking at all the things that ARE allowed, and not a single one of them are another fungus.

You're call ultimately obviously, but for me, they're off limits in P2, and that would be my recommendation to you as well.

Thank you, I will have to save them as another thing to look forward to in P3!

I had them week 3 and on p2. No problems for my dh or me... we also mixed some veggies with no issues! I lost 25 and he lost 35!

They probably work for some people and not for others. You won't know until you try to stabilize. Is it worth the risk of regaining all your weight or could you live without mushrooms for a couple weeks?
