Slowing weight loss is normal. We lose a lot of water weight in the first week, which is SO exhilarating but so easy to get used to.

You may want to drop an apple from your day. Apples have a fair amount of carbs, and eating two of them is actually not on protocol (2 different fruits is on protocol).

Sometimes supplements (esp the multi) have a lot of starch in them; have you looked at the ingredient list there?

Hey BadKitty,

Thank you for your reply.
I'll definitely substitute the apple tonight as I just had my snack and lunch! I'm taking a Vitamin Code Raw One for Women multi and it didn't seem to list anything alarming. I'm also going to have some Metamucil tonight as I haven't gone to the restroom regularly since I've started this diet.

I had a similar slowdown around that time until I started drinking ACV cocktails. It's raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (Bragg's). Add about 2 T to a glass of water, lemon juice, and I added some vanilla stevia but that's optional. Lukewarm made it better than cold. Chug it!

It's gag-worthy and makes your stomach churn (or at least mine did) but it seriously worked and got me losing lbs again.

Also, you might get some Smooth Move tea (comes in chocolate flavor). It contains senna, which stimulates the bowels. That worked for me as well.

Congratulations with your weight loss. One thing I noticed was that it sounds like you are eating salad at every meal? Eat different meat/veggie for lunch and dinner. I agree with the apple amount - I'd decrease your apple consumption.

Almcneil:Okay, I looked up the raw apple vinegar... it does look horrible, but I'm willing to try anything to start losing again! I'll be looking into the Smooth Move tea especially since I love Traditional Medicinals!

Redefiningme: Thank you so much, but I got so spoiled and accustomed to the quick weight loss during week 1 that now I'm being expectant and want the same results I know it's a big amount to lose within a month though...
As for the veggies, I'm having a similar salad for every lunch and dinner (I alternate between strawberries and oranges on the salad). I'll also be trying to mix up my vegetables for my upcoming dinner.

Thanks for your replies y'all!

Default Super frustrated.. HELP!
Hey y'all,

I'm a 20 year old female.. Started HCG weighing 146 and today I weigh in a 131....

Today is my VLCD 22 and I've lost a total of 15 pounds. I've been taking homeopathic HCG drop I purchased online from www.hcgdiet.com, today I'm finishing my first bottle and moving onto the next one to finish my 40 day round. I've slowed down quite a bit.. at the end of week one I lost 10 pounds, week two I lost 3 pounds, and this week I've lost 2 pounds.

I haven't deviated from the plan. My typical day consists of:
Vitamins: B12 Drops, folic acid supplement, biotin supplement, and a multi.
B/F: Tea sweetened with Stevia.
Snack: 1/2 of a Fuji or Honey Crisp apple.
Lunch: Handful of arugula with 1/2 of an apple cut up and a splash of lemon. Also, 3.5 grams of protein (usually chicken or ground beef).
Dinner: Same a lunch, except I have a full apple in my salad.

On a typical day I drink around .96 ounces of water.

I take 0.38 mL of HCG and hold it under my tongue for 30 seconds. I don't eat or drink 15 minutes before taking my HCG nor after. I take them in the morning, before lunch, and before dinner.

Is my slowed weight loss normal? Or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advanced!
