Default Will I really reshape?
How common is reshaping? I have lost some inches. But nothing really in the past few weeks. How likely is it to reshape? Does it really happen often? I would really like to lose more of the mid section but I'm thinkin I won't slim down much more.

I found about 2 or 3 weeks into p3 I sort of spontaneously dropped another inch or so from my waist. The thing that made me notice was my back fat looked smaller... went and measured, and sure enough it was!

Every one is different though, but hopefully you will see the reshaping you want

I just finished Phase 2 of my first round. I lost 24 pounds, and I really felt like I lost it where I wanted to. I lost 4.5 inches in the waist, & cannot be more thrilled. I really do see the loss, just the way Dr. Simeons described it.

That's awesome! Nice work- I sure hope I loose that many inches too. I'm more concerned with that than lbs! =)

I agree. Most of my inches came in P3. It was awesome. Don't frustrate yourself with re-measuring continually through P2. Give it some time. When you are eating the luscious food in P3 and see your jeans don't fit anymore, then measure. It will keep you on protocol!

I keep wondering this as well, the re-shaping process still seems mysterious to me.

P3D9 and if anything I 'feel' like my bell is slightly more distended than it was towards the end of P2, but...I had/ve already lost enough inches in the waist to drop 2 jean sizes and they are still fitting, so it's not as if I've increased in inches, it's just that my actual belly seems a little less flat than it was....not sure if it's just psychological or body image or what.

I'm technically really happy with my loss achievement to date and don't care so much about additional #'s but not to a body shape I'm ready to stop at just yet need more loss in the abdomen & chest area in particular, so....probably going to do a R2 at some point in the not too distant future, after at least the minimum 6 weeks of P3 + P4.

I'm not a different shape than I was. I've always been pear shaped. Now, I'm a pear shaped size 8 (and those are kinda roomy; I'm hoping I'll get to a 6 in P3). That's a lot better than being a pear shaped size 16/18. I tried on a bunch of old clothes yesterday. I wear uniforms to work and I've kept some old ones from the 1990's. All the uniforms are too big, including the old ones I wore the last time I was this weight.

So, I didn't suddenly turn into a Barbie doll or get long slim legs. My stomach is flat and my waist small. I'm down to a B-cup in my bras, unfortunately, but I was a B most of my life so that isn't surprising. And my hip measurement is still about 5 inches larger than my bust measurement. Size- and measurement-wise, I'm about the same as I was in my early 20's when I was a healthy weight. But I do tend to carry my weight in my bottom half, as I always have.

So I guess I reshaped from what I was when I was fat, but I didn't reshape from my genetic shape.

I am no longer square. I havent lost much from my boobs (big chested!) But I did lose a little. My legs are slim and my favorite part. I'm impressed with my shape, where did this come from? Oh and the vanishing back fat is another fav of mine! Hips, Tummy etc! First round I think it happened in p3. This round Ive noticed its all happening later in p4. I like it.

Yeah I wouldn't thinki I would go from an apple to a pear of whatever. I am an hourglass so that's great by me. I just meant more inches I suppose. I don't feel like I have lost ton of inches. I mean I guess I have. My clothes are baggier. SOme pants I can't really even wear anymore. I just feel like my hips have been at 40 inches for the past 4 weeks and would love for them to drop a couple more inches. Only today was my last day on the drops so woooooooooo only gonna starve for two days. can't wait for eggs with some butter on thursday! over all I have dropped from 189.9 to 166. Feel pretty good about that. Thursday I am ging to start doing Insanity as well. Probably not every day but definitely 4 or 5 days. Gotta tone up now!
