Default Calorie Counter?
I'm having trouble finding a reliable calorie counter... I'd love to hear from y'all what you use?

I had fresh/raw ginger with my dinner last night but when I went to look up the calorie count I got two wildly different numbers from several different sites - 32 Cal per 100g or 80 Cal per 100g ...both were definitely for fresh, raw ginger O.o
A website or app that'll give me decent calorie figures by weight/per 100g etc would be awesome.

( Also, in other news, I did my VLCD 2 weigh-in this morning and lost 3.8 lbs, taking care of my loading gain +1 lb! Woohoo!!!! )

I use calorieking.com. How much ginger did you have? It should be less than a calorie per gram, so using it as a flavoring shouldn't have cost you more than a couple calories.

it was hardly anything - actually, I discarded most of it because I was just using it (and some other things) as flavor-ingredients while baking my chicken in foil
...but after seeing such wildly different values, I just wanted to make sure I was using a good site for my info!
