Default Cool! AeroGarden has Stevia sweet leaf you can grow!
My hubbie got me one of those AeroGardens for Christmas last year. It was a little funny, I asked for a herb garden, and I was thinking those terra cotta pots that you can put in the window sill...

Anyway, I was on the AeroGarden website, looking to order a new batch of herbs to grow, when I saw they have Stevia you can grow!

I'm going to order one, I'll let you know how it "grows"! But I thought I'd share. Anyone else try growing their own Stevia? How did it taste? How did you use it?

In the summer we grew Stevia in our garden. It was not hard AT ALL and pretty much lasted ALL summer- until it frosted. We planted it 2 years ago. last year, the plant regrew again. Seriously was ZERO work. The leaves are SOOOOO sweet if you eat one. It's too much LOL. Fun to watch others reactions. You can even smell the sweetness just by holding a leaf of it up to your nose. I've never grown it inside though- just outside in the garden.

I to have grown it in my garden for the last two years. I take the leaves and dry them out either in my dehydrator or the microwave and put it in with my tea.
