long story short, i started the hcg diet back in december 24 had my two loading days, began my 500 calorie diet on december 26. I stayed with the diet until december 29 because i cheated by eating food that is not on the allowed food list but i still lost half a pound the following morning ( december 30 ) how ever that same day i was doing fine until the afternoon when instead of having my normal dinner i ate the wrong kind of food cheated again. it was until the following day ( december 31 ) that i completely stopped the diet and ate everything i wanted, i also stopped taking the drops.
my question is that, ive tired to start taking the drops again ( two or three days in january but only took the drops in the morning ) but havnt been able to fully start again because of gallbladder pain ( due to eating all the wrong food i ate ) but now that i no longer have the pain and feel i can go back to the diet i was wondering if i still have to do a two day loading day? or do i just take the drops and continue with my diet ????? any advise would greatly be appreciated ! thanks, ian |

Ian,
I would wait till all HCG is out of your system and then restart the protocol as if this is your first time. I would also get a meal plan together and cook all of your food for the first week ahead of time so you do not have an excuse to "cheat". Sunday night, I cook up a weeks worth of Chicken Breast and Fish and put them in sandwich bags and put them in the freezer until it is time to use them. I also do plain vegetables with nothing on them. A little bit of planning goes a long way. I also go out of my way to stay out of situations that could cause me to cheat. The family understands. Well I stopped mine llike a week after i first started taking it, and when i stopped i ate whatever i wanted. i took the risk and went back on about 5 days later. i had the same question, am i sposta load?!?! It was unclear so i ate 'normally'. I did not eat a poopton of crap but it was holiday so i had a nice fat plate of ickies until i wanted to pop and then that was it. anyways i went back on, and it took me a few days to start losing, which makes you feel like quitting.. but it all fell back into place after those few days and im back on track. I'm sure everyone is different but it worked for me!-sofar- and id make sure you stay away from hcg for the 3 days before starting again!

On my second round of HCG I had a really hard time getting started I would stay on for 3 days then cheat for 2 days I was a mess! I just couldn't get my head into the diet again yet I went on like this for 3 weeks until I stopped the madness. I then waited a full week and just started right back on without loading. So far I am down 18lbs after 24 days on the diet Gby has excellant advice - Planning is key! I also do all my food shopping and cooking for the week on Sunday. I also grill alot of my meat/fish and use alot of spices. If someone told me before I started HCG that I'd enjoy a salad with strawberries in it I'd say they were nuts. I now enjoy salads with raspberries apples oranges blackberries, and fresh herbs. Creativity preparing meals are key on this diet. Before I'd never consider buying such expensive meat but now when you can only eat 3.5oz for lunch/dinner I buy quality meat and produce. I experiment with recipes and I look forward to sitting down to try them. My first round was 42 days of salad and grilled meat/fish. I was so bored with the food everything tasted like cardboard. This round its italian tomatoe sauce over chicken breast, spinach stuffed veal chops etc. When I get the urge to cheat I'll have a glass of green tea with lemon and fresh mint or some sparkling water sweetened with stevia and I put some raspberries in it in a martini glass. For chocolate cravings I have cocoa crack (recipe is located in this forum) I also in a blender mix stevia and srtawberries pour the mix into an ice cube tray and freeze. I've even gone so far as to stick ice cream sticks in them so I feel like I'm eating ice cream. Hope this helps! |
