Stepped on the scale this morning after Day 1 of VLCD - Down 2.8 pounds!!!! It feels like even more though, I don't feel as bloated and my tummy seems flatter.
I hope I feel better today than I did yesterday, though. Felt kind of sick in the afternoon. Just kind of dazed and confused and really tired. That feeling will pass though, right? When does this fantastic feeling I'm supposed to have (other than the moment after I step on the scale) start? |

OMG Lynn, that's awesome! What a fantastic feeling. I hope I have as much success my first week as you have had. I need to get myself a tape measure! I didn't take measurements, I want to, but I am tooooo lazy. So I bought a pair of jeans that I fit in, but I wouldn't ever wear them with the muffin top hanging the way it does. I will try them on every week in conjunction with my start date and see how they fit. I hope they are too big by the end. But coming from wearing a tight 18, to be able to even fit in these 13's is a blessing! Good luck ladies! I am on day 4 and down 7.6 ![]() |

Cause if it does, I think I may have cracked it... I had today: 1 Apple 1 Shirataki Noodles 250g Cabbage 100g White fish 1 Shirataki Noodles 1 Giant Baked Apple 250g Cabbage 100g white Wish 1 Shirataki Noodles Lets see what the scales say in the morning, but I feel full up for the first time since Monday.... Hi Bliss And yeah, I am not upset about the stall, well, I am... But at least I know what some peanuts will do. We are neck to neck charmer, I am at 7.6lbs lost for day5! I am glad you feel better... i think thats what you meant? Chiki, I am in a few threads so I am sorry if I repeat myself.... But I actually bought a pair of jeans that BARELY fit, that I can get up...but I wouldn't wear them without losing like 20lbs... So once a week I will try them on for size and see how they fit. I took before pictures in them (SO GROSS) so I could see how much less gut hangs over each week. I don't know if I'll take pictures each time I try them on but maybe. I didn't take measurements either and I am too lazy too... But I love comparing my old jeans with my new one as sad as that sounds! |

mbliss - no worries about the repeat!
![]() I went and got my second double B12 shot this morning. Not sure if it helps, but I hope so. Lynn - Where did you find the recipe for the baked apple? I need to start experimenting a little more. I've been trying to be a "purist" all week. I don't want to get bored and then completely go crazy. I bought a pack of the Angel Hair noodles this morning a the spa. I'm going to try them over the weekend. Any tips on making them? Some people don't like the texture. What do you think? I thought we could only have 1 serving of those a day? |

B12 should help with energy at least! |

My energy level has been good except for Wednesday when I thought I would die at my desk. Not sure if it's the detoxing from the starch, sugar, fats that made me feel so sick the first couple of days or the HCG, but it's gone now. One of the girls in the office told me that by Tuesday I would be feeling fantastic. So I'm waiting for that! Green tea has been helping also - with Stevia to get my sweet fix. I am glad you are feeling better ![]() |

Hiya
Well not lost anything this morning and I know why, I think, I had an extra small apple yesterday. Im sort of experimenting but I think I need to stick to protocol and gonna take some exercise today, regardless of the weather. I also had 3 packs of Shiratki noodles yesterday so maybe that tipped the balance. Bake apple is easy, just take out the core, slice a little around the middle and bake - yummy! Shirataki noodles, I just head them in the pan aftr my fish is cooked with a little tamari (wheat free soy sauce) and thai fish sauce - yum! Hope we have more loses x Just got to stick to it and get the job done! Lynn x |
