Default Night Injections
I was thinking about doing my injections at night - that will help me stay more motivated to not eat at night, I think. If that's the case, would I start loading starting that morning, or would I wait until the next day?

I was told that taking HCG at night will make it harder to fall asleep.

Okay, so if I did that...

would my first load day be that day, or the next day?

I'd say that day, but if you didn't go nuts, it could be the next day.

I take my injections at night...it's a lot easier for me as mornings are jammed packed as it is.

I took my first injection the night before my first load day...I figured if I didn't take the shot the night before that I'd lose roughly 12 hours of letting the hcg build up in my system.

I'm currently on R1P2VLCD17 and have lost 14 pounds excluding my load weight gain.

How was your hunger during the morning and afternoon before you took the injection?

Wow interesting.. does this help with the afternoon, night hungries???
I'm always hungrier/craving in the afternoon because I am fixing snacks, dinner, icecream for dessert for my kids!!

I am considering to switching to afternoon injections around 3-4pm when I get home from work and school with the kids. Wonder if this would help with the cravings

I've done the evening shots for a while now. I've also done the break it down into 2 shots a day. I've had more success with the night shots. It appears to be really helping with the hungries.

before you switched to night did you have any problems with being hungry in the mornings or afternoons? What made you switch?

Sally,

I was having cheating problems in the afternoon. Plus I would get the hungries. I suspected it was more of a habit but I wasn't sure. So I switched to nights thinking that the "hungries" would happen while I was sleeping. I don't know if it's psychological or not, but it has made a difference for me. I'm not hungry at all in the afternoons.

Ok I'm definately switching!
I did 125iu IM this morning after a skip day was very hungry this afternoon so I injected 50iu IM and will see how I feel in the morning. I am hoping I can just wait to inject till I get home in the afternoon around 2:30pm. I am usually not hungry in the morning but of course I'm at work.. not fixing my kids snacks!
I will keep you all updated.

Jenni - do you take your first night shot the evening before day 1 of load or do you take the first shot the evening of the first load day? I take my injections at night as well and took the first shot the night before loading...not sure if it was right to do it that way and would like to know for future rounds. I was worried that I'd lose 12 hours of hcg build up by taking it at night on the first day of loading which is why I started the night before.

Good Question ChangingMe!! If my 1st load day is Sunday, when do i take my 1st injection? Also, around what time do you take the injection? For example, I start cooking supper around 4:00-4:30 p.m. and go to bed around 10:00-10:30pm. When would be the best time to take the shot? I notice I start getting hungry around 2:30 pm and pretty well stay that way.

changing- i think i'd suggest taking your first shot the night before you start to load.

sally- you can take your shot any time of day, as long as you're fairly consistent with the time- so i'd play around with it. figure out when your worst time of day is in terms of hunger, and then back up a couple of hours for taking a shot.

Sally - I take my injection before bed...normally between 9:30 and 10:00pm and I started the injections the night before the first load day.

I'm thinking of switching to night shots because the hcg wipes out my energy levels. I get extremely tired about an hour after my shots and have to sleep or drink energy drinks. I'm also hungrier in the evenings. How will a bed time shot affect me??
