Yesterday was my bday and I did pretty good all day as I planned out everything and even made a hcg P3 approved Brown which was sooo delicious but my bf bought a coconut ice that had 12g of sugar in it and I told him it was no good cuz I can’ have sugar but he kept insisting that I can at least have 2 tbl spoons so I gave in and did and now I am at 1.89 lbs this morning. Should I do a Steak day or does that only apply if you are passed 2 lbs. I am bordering 2 lb mark though so was thinking I need to do it.
Sort of wanted to cry this morning too cuz i knew it was wrong and shouldn't of did it and the ice cream wasn't all that fab compared to the hCg approved Brownie. It could actually be a combination of a couple things. Certainly the sugar in the coconut ice wasn't good for you to have BUT your brownies also have Agave Nectar which isn't (typically) allowed during P3 (the actually amout is omitted). I've seen some posts arguing about it being a natural sweetner and all, but I've seen many more saying not to use it.
A steak day is designed for when your more than 2# over your LIW - you don't go by your weight yesterday, always your LIW. If you're getting close, then you could do a high protein day, that's generally good to bring you down a little. On a side note - do NOT let your boyfriend or anyone else sabatoge your efforts. NO means no - plain and simple. YOU are responsible for what goes in your mouth, no one else. If you don't want it, don't have it - and stick to your guns!! P3 is a HORRIBLE time to cheat - this is when your hypothalamus is resetting and stablizing. The last thing you want to do is put that at risk. |

Yeah, I plan to stick to my guns with never swaying now for sure! nothing but salad and chicken and/or fish for me for the rest of my P3.
I think every food reacts differently to each person though. When I was on P2 I was stalled for 2 weeks and 3 days (and I never cheated on that) and I got so frustarted that I made a P3 choco candy with agave nectar to cheer me up and once i started eating agave nectar my weight loss came back to a lost of 1lb a day. My digestion and motab seems waaaay better when I changed over to eating and cooking with coconut oil also. Also, on P2 and P3 tomatoes make me stall and gain so I think everyone's body reacts differently to certain foods. I always knew italian foods like pasta made me gain but never thought tomatoes would do that to me. oh well....worth giving up if I lose or maintain my weight. I think there will always be disputes on certain foods one can and can not eat since we all are different and react differently to things. |
