Anyone have any ideas on what to use? I got some kind of liquid crystal deodorant and Jasons Apricot deodorant at earth fare both of which work like crap!!! Will using my degree really effect my results???

My husband uses Arridd XX Morning Fresh. It's an aerosol product. It works just as great as Degree, which he swears by. HTH.

My first round, I went out and bought some natural crystal crap too, but after about a week I said "screw it" and went back to my deodorant. Never had any problems because of it. I do avoid lotions with oil in them but I didn't change my shampoo or conditioner either. I don't often wear makeup but I also kept the same stuff as before with no issues.

What type of crystal did you use? I have been using crystal now for about 4 months (prior to HCG..just decided to use based on friends recomendations and health reasons). I've been very happy with mine, but you do need to realize it is not an anti-persperant, and it does not scent you so if you are looking for that it will never work. I have heard the liquid is junk. Mine is the hard type and you have to use it specific ways or it won't work right. Your skin has to be clean AND WET. I think the package says you can wet the crystal but I find this never works well. I have it on a ledge right next to my shower so as soon as I'm done I put that on before drying off and then just let the area dry naturally and towell everywhere else. It works by neutralizing the smell causing bac. BUT, if you sweat A LOT then it prob won't work as well as it will wear off. I know on very hot days that I'm very active I usually reapply (wet skin) around mid day. Doing this I've had no prob, no smell. I am never a big sweater really but w/o deo I would smell myself by the end of the day (sorry TMI!).

I've been using a solid crystal deoderant for about 15 years, and it always worked better than my regular deoderant. BUT I bought the liquid one once - thinking, oh, this is more like real deoderant. It was horrible. I think it made me smell worse than no deoderant at all LOL. I would never recommend the liquid. The solid one is perfect for me. I use any brand, they all work the same, and I even get a little travel size one for trips. One can last me almost a year and it usually costs around 7.00.
