I find fats are really satisfying on p3. Hamburgers with a little more fat content than on p2, wrapped in romaine lettuce with mayo/mustard/sweetener mix, even with grilled vidallia onions inside the wrap. Yumm. It almost taste decadent after p2. You could do the same, but with bacon as the protein, and tiny tomatoes in the wrap. Same with rotesserie chicken, pulled off the bone, some skin included, and bleu cheese dressing on top. You can't feel deprived on that. Want something sweet and creamy, how about Full Fat Fage (Greek yogurt) mixed with unsweetened Hershey's chocolate syrup, taste almost like a chocolate mousse. P3 is a wonderful place to live!

Eggs, full fat Fage yogurt, different cuts of meat, turkey, cheeses, nuts. Fabulous food!

guacamole! I miss it so much of p2http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png One of my fav p3 meals is carne asada served with cheese, guac, sour cream and wrapped in a coconut flour tortilla....YUM!

KahiroSamo 05-26-2011 06:18 PM

Bleu Cheese dressing on my salads! Yum! Sugar free Jello blended with heavy cream! Butter on veggies (some carbs are OK).

I am so far away from p3 and I am already dreaming about guacamole! I could eat it with a spoon, on top of a hamburger patty or chicken and I love it with cucumber slices........ and do not even get me started on pepper jack cheese.......I need to go to sleep now so I can wake up a little closer to P2.

Deviled eggs! Grilled salmon with bacon!

MightyMasd 05-26-2011 06:39 PM

Can you have cheddar cheese? Cheese on eggs? Eggs scrambled? As far as the guac, does it have to be home-made? Any recipes for it? But with the guac you can't have chips of any kind .. what else do you guys eat guac with? Burgers?

I love both of these things! You're allowed to have salmon? woo hoo lol.

Hoglaunccoolf 05-26-2011 06:41 PM

guac is super easy! just mash together avocado, garlic, and some juice from limes or lemons...thats it. You can make cheese chips (melt little piles of cheese) if you want, but I normally just put it on taco salads, burgers, chicken, whatever

TravelMan 05-26-2011 06:42 PM

I am dreaming about P3 still. LOL

My favorites:
Bacon lettuce wraps (as mentioned before)
Cole slaw made with Marie's Creamy Italian Garlic dressing
Sausage, shredded cauliflower and cheese casserole
Cabots Tomato Basil Cheese (seriously could eat this stuff all freaking day!)
Almonds
Omelettes with whatever combo of veggies and cheese I want
Chicken thighs, broc, and onion cheddar casserole
Protein shake using heavy cream

Oh, yeah, I miss P3. LOL

Yes, you can have cheese. I make cheese sauce to put on my broccoli! And meat, poultry or seafood as long as it's not breaded. I don't usually make guac,, but it's easy to make, just smash the avocado add a little salt, pepper, garlic, tiny squeeze lemon or lime (optional) and mix. I just slice avocado onto whatever I'm eating: eggs, burger, salad. I've also used the premade guac that Costco sells in the bags.

What about Deli meat like Ham / Turkey. Is this allowed?

have to be very careful as most have added sugars and sometimes starch. Its easier just to cook your own and slice it up to keep for when needed

Tuna salad made with mayo, eggs, and pickles on 2 oopsie rolls for a sandwich. Delish!

cool, thanks for the info!

I can't believe we're allowed to have mayo, I thought forsure that was one of the worst things in the world as far as unhealthy eating habits. I love mayo though, so I'm pleasantly surprised. I wish we could have potatoes in P3 bc I love making potato salad from scratch with potatoes, eggs, onion, celery, and mayo.

so exciting, you've done this before haven't you? it sounds like you know how to make all the good food =D

gyjsdtuwr 05-26-2011 07:19 PM

Sauteed vegetables in olive oil with sea salt. I love leeks, and green beans, and onions and mushrooms..

refdhbgtd 05-26-2011 07:22 PM

P3 really is pretty easy as far as what is allowed...its just each individual may have certain foods they are sensitive to.

Look up all the p3 recipe threads here.

My birthday was in P3 this year....had shish kaboobs, yummy salad, cauliflower with gruyere cheese casserole thing, and sugar free cheesecakehttp://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png
