Default Loaded poorly, what can I do about it?
I loaded over the weekend, poorly, very poorly. I didn't eat near enough and certainly didn't eat enough fat. I'm on R2, VLCD2 and really hungry, foggy and blaa feeling. I am at the same dose I did on R1, .45ml on my little dosing syringe. Hucog 5000iu, mixed w/ 15 ml of wound wash. On R1, I found this dose gave me no hunger, but .5ml did...

So what do I do? Stick it out, how long will it take to strt feeling more human? Have a fat cheat day? I really dont want to do that as I gained 5 pounds with loading. Move my dose up? Or down?

I figured I would know exactly what I was doing this time around...LOL!

I cannot give you an educated answers the vets will have to do that but for me, I tend to load for 3 days but I focus my load on proteins, very little junk food in fact most of my loading is meats meats meats..I tend to NOT gain so much during loading and tend to feel better in the beginning then on a 2 day load ... my only issue is migraines but they are not related to this diet i have them on or off this diet but they can be worse if i dont eat enough protein...most of what i eat on the vlcd is protein just to help with my migraines ... maybe someone will chime in with some good advice for you but if you are just starting this diet i guess eating some extra meat might help...

If you gained 5 lb loading, that's not exactly loading poorly. Try and stick it out, I found that after day 4 it gets easier. If you must add some fat, try a tsp of coconut oil or an extra serving of protein. Sometimes round 2 just sucks, it's the round 2 blues. If you can put your head down and power through the first week, it will get easier. If you need dosage advice, post in the P2 questions thread so Colleen or Margie can talk you through it.

It was all carbs and sugars. I'm back down past my load weight now and do feel better today. I have added an extra serving of protien and I think that helps. Hopefully tonight will be better then last night. I was queezy because I was so hungry.

I've been trying to keep my hands busy, knitting, reading, etc...

OH, that explains it. The sugary carby foods will do that as the glucose levels fall and your body switches over to fat burning instead of sugar burning. That takes about 72 hours. I think it's called the carb flu or something like that.
