I'm on day 25 of R1P2 and I can't seem to lose anymore. I've been stalled
for almost 2 weeks now, bouncing between 137 & 136 lbs. I have not cheated at all, had 2 apple days, bumped up my water and nothing. I just don't feel like continuing to 40 days if I can't lose but 10lbs. My DH has been very supportive (which is very unusual) & telling me to hang in there, but I just don't know... |

Kayc,
Not sure where you started from or what your BMI or other stats are but it looks like you are close to your end goal. Once I got close to my goal, I started stalling regularly. Not a lot of excess fat left. I stayed true to the protocol, (actually extended my walks an extra mile and drank more water) and it finally came off. Can you post a sample of you daily meal plan to see if any slight changes to this might help? Patience is an easy word to say but very difficult when it is pointed in your direction. I have recently been on the receiving end of that. ![]() A few more details on your situation may help. Gary |

I started @ 147lbs, need to lose at least 25. I'm not getting my 500 calories, I have 1/2 apple,
100gms chicken, sm cuke, talaipia, 1 cup green salad and a few strawberries on a typical day. I always weigh protein, I also have lean ground beef as a protein. I've cut out the melba toast, but it didn't seem to help. BMI is 25.9, not sure how that works. Also don't know how to put ticker on page, lol. Thanks, Kay |

Kayc, I always stall with beef....even if its the extremely lean variety. Once you get around a bmi of 25...you have to get really creative to get your weight lower. It sounds like your losses for 25 days are within the norm for women......5 to .75 lb avg per day....most of us are closer to .5. Also, you have to count your load weight in there too. Also, most of us stall really badly on week 2 and 3....if you hold on, your losses will start up again. Addionaly, if you are at a previousl set weight.....you will tend to want to hang there for a week or so.....but if you keep at it, you will break the plateau and start losing again. I hope this helps. The choice is up to you, but you are at a typical point in the program that we all seem to have.....its frustrating for sure, but we are here for you.

Cutting your food in half the way you seem to have done is going to bite you in the behind.

I'm getting 2 protein servings a day, but not all the fruit. I'm not trying to cut calories, that's just how it's been adding up,
usually around 350 to 400. I'm going to try adding 1 more serving of protein and cut out a fruit. As for water, my md told me to drink 1/2 my body weight in ozs, so I'm drinking around 80 of water, plus flavored tea. My GI tract is actually much better since I started hcg. I was having all kinds of reflux and IBS. I haven't had any problems since I started hcg and my hot flashes are not as many as before. I think I have food allergies, so I plan to really watch when I start eating again. As for exercize, this is the first week that I have had the energy to do anything. I have started walking 1 mile a day and plan to increase. |
