Default Body wrap...Safe to do while on HCG Diet?
I have a certificate for a free body wrap ( http://www.gghealth.com/how_does_it_work_ ) ($80 value). I don't want to waste it...but during the hour you burn 1200+ calories..so I don't really wantt o make myself sick either. lol Does anyone else do this? I talking to the Body wrap specialist and she ensured me that she has people come in for the body wrap who are doing the HCG diet and they have no issues as long as they eat a high protien meal within and hour of coming in. Any thoughts for those who have had body wraps before?

Bleeehh, I did a body wrap a few years back and as far as I'm concerned, it's a pile of heewie! Anyway, I agree with Misterrollie, it will dehydrate you. You should ask them what's in the wrap, some of them use tons of moisturizers, which is a no-no-no.

Its not that kind of wrap (NO cremes or lotions involved). The wrap I am talking about you wear long sleeve and long pants (like sweat pants) and they place straps around your mid section, arm and thighs. The straps send infared heat to your fat and muscles and causes you to burn calories. I am not explaining this exactly right...lol but I did include the instructions in a link above.

My opinion, it would be just like the salt bathes we do to purge us of water weight. I honestly do not see why this would be any different than dehydrating in a pool of epson salt and extreme heat!

If this works the way they say it does, you might experience some very unpleasant/strong detox symptoms. Plus I agree that it could dehydrate you which is prolly the worst thing that can happen on the VLCD.

I did a body wrap like the one you are talking about. Didn't do anything for me. And I stalled... Won't do one again.
