Default Taking drops.. But what am I taking?
So a friend turned me on to HCG and a place where she got some drops and it worked for her. She was rail think but still lost 15lbs. But I did not find this place until after I started. Now that I have read Advantages and Disadvantage of Various Methods I am concerned I do not know what I am actually taking. So based on the info below, can someone help me out in understanding this?

From http://www.trimhcg.com/

From Bottle:
Active Ingredients: HCG 6x, 12x, 30x, 60x, L-Arginine 3x, 12x, 30x, Ayctel-Carnitine 3x, 12x, 30x, L-Omithine 3x, 12x, 30x
Formulated and produced under the guide-lines of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States.

The active ingredients made me think it was sub-lingual but the mention of Homeopathic guidelines makes me think that is it homeopathic and not the actual hormone itself.

Thoughs?

Those are homeopathic hcg. I've heard of the brand before.

Is it the product that helps us lose weight, or is it the 500 calorie restriction that is occuring while on the diet? I know that the drops help with appetite suppression but do they actually help with the weight loss?

the concept behind hcg itself is that it releases excess fat for use as energy. While we may only be eating 500 calories, our body has access to a couple of thousand more a day from the release of the fat. The 'suppression' of appetite is merely because our body feels satiated.

whenever you lose weight on a restricted calorie diet, your body is burning something for fuel in addition to what you're eating. best case scenario, all fat. worst case- muscle.

if your body is able to burn fat well on the diet, you'll generally feel good and not be that hungry. if it isn't burning fat well, you'll be weak and hungry. so go with your gut- if you feel good, then you're burning fat. if not, you need to either eat more or try a different method of hcg.

Yea that's what I thought. I'm gonna finish out this round and then switch to the real stuff I see everyone here talking about. Things are going well on this one, but I prefer not to have my body create this hormone itself which is what I understand homeopathic does. Or am I wrong?

Kinda of sort of. I can tell you that I lost 57 lbs in my first two rounds using homeopathic hcg and stabilized well after both rounds.
