One of the benefits of this diet is the attention you have to pay to your hunger and/or desire to eat. Many have learned to distinguish what is true hunger and what is a counterfeit.
Likewise, the difference between being satisfied and being stuffed. I've also noticed that hunger can seem to surface even when the belly is physically feeling full. Not sure if that indicates a nutritional need or not. What have you learned or observed? Might be helpful to others here on the forum. ![]() |

Very interesting topic! I'm very new on this diet, (day 4) and I was just thinking about that, I told my mother I'm hungry old the time, this thing is not working for me, and all those things! But I just realize that is not hunger, is just the desire to eat, food action is very hard! I'm looking forward to Learn how to control and how to realize when is real hunger or is just my mind playing the food game! Let's see how it goes! Thanks in advance for any tips!

I'm with Misterrollie. I can put my stomach on a schedule, but it usually lets me know when its time - especially here in the early days of P2. As time goes on I do sometimes forget about meals and eat them late or I have to make myself eat. I tend to get full easily, but I do sometimes 'want' something else after I've eaten my fill. Never sure what it is and it goes away with some hot tea. I never had that feeling in P3 or P4, so I think its mental.
