So I was misguided by the person working at the GNC counter. I had previously purchased the HCG activator in hopes it was the real thing. I was fortunate enough to have gotten advice from some of the nice people of this forum and they stated that those were not the real thing. I have since returned them and put in a purchase for Desert Labs Homeopathic HCG drops. I am hoping these really work! Anyone else try this brand?

I've never heard of that brand before. Just make sure that on the ingredients they list that you see Human Chorionic Gonadotropin and a potency (ex: 6x,12x, 30x, etc). You also want to have a manufacture date and NDC# listed on the label. Drops that are on the up and up should have those things listed on the label. Good luck!!

Thank you for your reply! I do see the HGC Potency, but not sure about the other label. looks like the website is listed on here... www.hcgdiet20.com. I found them from a locally owned nutrition store where the nutritionist had researched and said this product seemed to be the one he would purchase for himself. Lets cross our fingers! LOL. It doesnt come with directions on how to take the drops. Ive seen that you hold them under your tongue for 15 seconds before swallowing? I'll have to look up some more facts on that..

Okay, so I just looked at my VOX hhcg bottle and it says ALL Potencies.... It reads "HCG 6x, 12x, 30x, 60x" How do I know what potency it is??

It can get a little confusing can't it All the numbers are considered the potency, they represent number of times the source substance has been homeopathically diluted (explanation of homeopathic potency http://www.ritecare.com/homeopathic/guide_potency.asp ). When you buy an hhcg product you want to make sure this string of numbers is listed like yours are.

I'm surprised that the label on the drops doesn't tell you what the dosage should be. That is a little strange, the website doesn't really give you much product info either unfortunately. I'd try 10 drops 3x's a day to start with and then see how you feel on that dosage. You may have to adjust a little bit from there. Let me know how you feel when you start taking them. Most people hold the drops under the tongue for 2-3 minutes to maximize the absorbtion. Try to not eat or drink anything before or after you take the drops. Before you take the drops remember to smack (gently) the bottom of the bottle onto the palm of your hand several times to activate the drops. This is something that a lot of people taking the hhcg drops aren't told to do.

Thank you for the info about hitting the bottom of the bottle against my hand. I didnt know that I needed to do that to activate the HCG. I have been successful so far. I am still finding myself hungry, but i am staying on the strict diet. I didnt weigh myself, and wont because I'd rather measure. I am able to button a pair of shorts that I was not able to button just a week ago. Tomorrow will be my one week mark.
