Default Foods that can help a chronic sinus condition
Allergy can be a very uncomfortable and difficult condition to have. Sometimes we don't know which foods trigger the allergy so it is important that we know our allergens. Natural allergy relief is better than having to take medication to lessen the ailment. Here are some tips on foods that may help relieve you from allergy:

1) Antioxidant rich foods are recommended

2) Vitamin C rich foods such as: broccoli, oranges, papaya, red, green, or yellow peppers, strawberries, sweet potato, and tomato juice are recommended as it has antihistamine effect and good for allergy.

3) Vitamin E foods are also suggested because it boost's our immune system. Some of the examples are: almonds, corn oil, peanut butter, safflower oil, salmon, sunflower seeds, and walnuts.

4) Beta Carotene also helps as it makes healthy mucus membranes. It is converted to Vitamin A in the body. Beta carotene foods include: apricots, asparagus, beef liver, broccoli, sweet potato, yellow corn.

5) Essential fatty acids reduce inflammation and promote sinus health. Such foods include fish oils such as Omega 3 and Omega 6, oily fish products such as anchovy, herring, herring and sardines.

Thanks for the informative post mikaela. I heard that if you have a chronic sinus condition, you can be allergic to foods such as eggs, milk, gluten, etc. Is that true? My aunt is allergic to dust and pollens an causes her to sneeze non-stop and have runny nose.

Yeah I believe that it is true. Eggs and milk can be one of the causes of a chronic sinus problem. If you doubt, do a test first and observe your response. The safest way to know is to go to a doctor for confirmation.

Thanks wildman! Glad you like this post. You'red right viktoria, going to the doctor is indeed the safest way to know which foods we are allergic too for safety. We don't know how badly the allergy attack will hit us so it's not a risk that anyone should take.

Oh yeah totally you'll never know which how the allergy will attack your body. I am allergic to almost all kinds of seafood except for fish. When I innocently eat any of the foods I am allergic to, I turn to red. There are rashes all over and my whole body itches. I have to take an antihistamine to relieve from the condition. It's really awful but I think it's better than not being able to breathe.

That's too bad. I feel sorry for those who have food allergies. It's really threatening and they have to be very careful of what they eat all the time

I have difficulty breathing every time I eat foods I am allergic to like too much msg, low calorie foods or drinks, and melon seeds. It isn't that bad because I can just avoid them to keep away from the attack. There was one time though when I was brought to the hospital while at work because I ate a low calorie gum . That was the first and the last time I ate a sugar free candy
