Desertrose...I have to laugh, because here I am, 65 years old, giving advice on PREGNANCY! Yeah, 42 years ago I was an expert having had 2 by the age of 23 BUT today? Perish the thought!
From my research and reading, however, the Atkins MAINTENANCE diet is EXCELLENT for pregnant moms, BUT print it out from the Atkins site and show it to your doctor as soon as you know. Never take advice from the little old ladies! Also, vitamins of course will be very important. And exercise, even if just a good walk daily. My best to you! Let us know. If you ARE, then we would love to be with you through the entire experience! Toni |

Well, eat NOW as if you were, because "being pregnant" can be a secret for several weeks, and a good healthy plan for the weeks after conception is so important for the development of your baby. No alcohol, smoking etc. and good nutrition, vitamins.
If you are eating well now, by the time you DO become pregnant, all those good habits are second nature. My best to you. Toni |
