Of course not enough to make them change anything. In either case, they can eat each other.
http://english.alarabiya.net/article...06/192828.html From news article: “Prices are going up every day, life is expensive. I buy chicken or meat once per month. I used to buy it twice per week,” the father of four said in Iran’s central city of Isfahan. “Sometimes I want to kill myself. I feel desperate. I do not earn enough to feed my children.” With just a month to go before a parliamentary election, Iran has been hit hard in recent months by new U.S. and European economic sanctions over its nuclear program, which Tehran says is peaceful but the West says is aimed at making a bomb. In conversations in towns and cities across Iran, people complained of rapidly deteriorating economic conditions, likely to be the main issue in an election that exposes divisions between President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and hardline opponents. |

I actually feel for the common Iranian citizen/s, especially the children. Children are children are children. Unfortunately, these are who are going to be hurt by the sanctions, not the leaders (who they are aimed at) who will continue to live in their palaces, have the best health care, drive the fanciest cars, travel the world, and eat the fanciest food.

I actually feel for the common Iranian citizen/s, especially the children. Children are children are children. If a child had the maturiy of an adult it would be able to ask its teacher "If it's so great to die for Allah, then after all these years, why are you still alive?" As a post script I must add, Children are found to be the most impressionable in their first 5 years of life. The things learnt then become as axioms and take a heck of a lot of undoing. This is also relevant to another thread regarding Obama who became Xian, because it was expedient to do so. |
