Default Innocent Baha'is on trial in Iran
Another show trial of innocent people in Iran.

From Haaretz:

Seven people belonging to the Baha'i faith are scheduled to stand trial in Iran over charges of "spying for Israel," among other charges, the Iranian ISNA news agency reported Wednesday.

The news agency quoted Tehran's Deputy General Prosecutor Hassan Hadad as saying that the seven defendants also face charges of "desecrating Islam and campaigning against an Islamic republic."

Don't worry Dayag, there's no reason to worry! Fellow forum member, Orangeblossom, told us that peace will ring out in the Middle East the very day the Israelis and Palestinians make peace. When that day comes, Inshallah, the Bahai will be treated like royalty by the Islamic Republic of Iran. I think on that very day the Saudis will also allow women to leave the house without men and get a driver's license.

Yeah, I saw that.

I'm not going to hold my breath while I'm waiting for this miracle to occur.

Peace won't ring out through the Middle East if and when a few signatures are placed on a dotted line.

The conditioning is too deep now. It will take years of psychological support to undo it.
If ever.

I am also from a Muslim country and I truly sympathize. The problem is if they're not Palestinians, the UN doesn't care. 58 Christians killed in Nigeria today and no one raised an eyebrow. Bahais persecuted in Iran and no one speaks out.
