Default Underrated Bands/Artists
What Bands/Artists do you think are underrated by the music industry and critics.

First one that comes to mind is Cheap Trick.

I saw them in concert a few years back (2004) when they opened for Aerosmith in Hershey PA. and was blown away. I became a fan on the spot and have been made fun of for this.

The Bled, Dead to Fall, and The Dillinger Escape Plan. The Dillinger Escape Plan get some quite good acclaim, but they're not considered the best band ever by everyone, so everyone underrates them.

Dark Angel and Sadus, two of the most amazing thrash metal bands ever, way more hardcore then Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax combined.

Dangerous Toys, Y&T, and Bulletboys are three that come to mind. All three are amazing bands in my opinion, and really don't get enough credit.
They were all around during the 80s Hair Metal era (my favorite genre/era). For the people who don't know.

Sorry; but Metallica's most 'hardcore thrash metal' album, is probably St. Anger. It's the only album that retains the hatred throughout, the rest have too much soft/sombre stuff to even compare.

But Master of Puppets was a good album.
