It's shit and I cant believe this crappy remix took Elvis above the Beatles to number 1 for the most British number 1 singles.

I live Elvis, I dislike shitty untalented groups that can only get to number 1 by ruining good songs.

Apparently if these shitty untalented groups are getting to number 1 by ruining good songs.... you opinion is in the minority. Someone is making it happen. *shrugs*

In that case this is one of the best songs ever written. You seem to forget that the mayority of the singles buying public are thick teenage girls who buy records based on which boy they fancy or which kareoke singer Simon Cowell tells them is good.

Have you got evidence to support this? That it is indeed teenage girls?

Ok, try this, there are 60 odd million people in the UK and out of those less than 2% bought that record. Therefore being in the 98% of the population isn't being in the minority.

Okay. If you want to stand by those figures without providing evidence.... that's fine. I was just playing with you anyway.

that statistic proves nothing

because you would have to factor in the number of people that buy records

has nothing to do with size of the population

I hate most of the music kids like today. But I don't count because I don't buy music but very rarely anymore.

I suppose at least that record might be a stepping stone for kids to like real Elvis music instead of their usual shit factor kareoke shite
