Default Tribute thread to Fleetwood Mac
Starting with Black Magic Woman - the Peter Green Days (you have to be old like me to remember this LOL)

It's a great song and still is played a lot by the Fleetwood Mac fans around the world. This is one that always gets mentioned when Peter Green's name is mentioned, amongst others...

'Tusk'. Yet another outstanding timeless track from the 'Tusk' album from Fleetwood Mac.

Their music is made with such intensity and recognition from so many different aspects of peoples' lives as well as their own, which as we know, is where most of their lyrics came from - they knew that out there, people would always be relating and relate so well, to the music they played, the lyrics they sang and the meaning of it all.

Their music touched souls, touched the concious of many and gave inspiration and aspiration alike.

I was going to mention about the time Lindsey Buckingham was invited to play in the band - he agreed, but only if his then g/f (at that time), Stevie Nicks could be a vocalist - anyway, it says about it here in the link I have posted. It's a profile of the band, that most people know of anyway, but not everyone does...

Oh yes - some say he was Fleetwood Mac.

He was before Lindsey and Stevie.

I prefer most of F.M though, post Peter Green.

Yep, he was in the band when they started out in late 60's and was good, though the reasons why he left have been conflicting ove rthe years.

Some say drugs, others say rows with Fleetwood - all I know is I likes what I hear from them, but more so since the days of Nicks and Buckingham, I have to say.

Ahhh we...The very tusk. Love it.

I used to play that over and over at full volume. If it's nice, do it twice.

So true. And it's what makes all the more meaningful. As a matter of fact, most of their music was about their own relationships.

Classic. That her performing solo. I prefer to see her performing with FMac to see the interactions tho.

Yes, another interesting saga in the web of Fleetwood Mac.

Mick himself was quite the cassanova.
