R.I.P. Mr Manchester. The last I saw of him was getting beaten on the weakest link by one of the GLC who were so impressed with him they shared their charity winnings with his charity.

Can't forget the eighties with what has been voted the best song of the decade and my favorite song ever, The Pogues with Kirsty MacColl.

They still cant cope with the line

"You cheap lousy faggot"

but then what can you expect from a station that banned Frankie goes to Hollywood - Relax and then completely missed the point of welcome to the pleasuredome and proclaimed it the best song ever!?

just reading the names makes you weep.
i was at work when this happened ,we had just put all the patients in the tv room ,the whole thing was happening live on tv ,we just stared at it ,and before anyone knew people were dead already we could see the bodies ,not breathing or moving ,and fans trying to do cpr on corpses ...
terrible way to end a decade ,and not to be forgotten
