Song identification
 

I'm looking for the name of a very old song, all I can remember is that the chorus had the words "come what may, we believe in tomorrow" in it. It is not the song written by Ewan McGregor from Moulin Rouge, the one I'm looking for is older, probably from the 60's or 70's.

Can anybody help?

Sorry, it's not the one I was looking for. My mother remember siging the song during church services in school (which puts the time frame just this side of the stone age). Apparently it's a religious song sung to the melody of one of the classics. I'll update the post if somebody can remember more of the words.

I think you are talking about "I know who holds tomorrow" by Ira Stample.
He also wrote Mansion over the Hilltop.
Try that one out.

I have this song on a CD called Encore, sung by Russell Watson.

Whether it is your song I do not know, but it is the same tune

I can't thank you enough. Although I couldn't understand the lyrics, using the name I found a midi file confirming that it's the right song and after some further hunting I now have the sheet music to toruter the pipe organ with.

That's a beautiful gospel type lovesong. It's very pretty. I will still say it's
a contempory gospel song that is very pretty.
