I just got tickets to this show for September 12th, so it should be fucking awesome. I'm most excited aboot seeing The Flaming Lips since I love their music and have heard great songs aboot their stage show. Matisyahu will be a nice addition to, so it will be fun to see. Anyone got any concert experiences to either of these?

damn i would kill to see Flaming Lips live but they never come to NYC. the closest thing is their concert in Syracuse with Sonic Youth and Ween and i would also kill to go to that but i won't be able to...

He's alright, a little preachy in his songs, but then again he is a jew from the NOT middle east, so that will happen. It will be interesting to see.

I'm mainly going for The Flaming Lips, I hope they use the bubble machines at this show!

Matisyahu isn't from the middle east, and i'm not a huge fan of him either but i heard that he puts on a good show
