which is awesome, plus the lyrics of someof the songs are very deep, heck if u listen to some of queens songs they actually suprisingly tackle real life issues head on lol

Man I cannot stand U2, and this comes from avid guitar player, I don't know why "The Edge" would waste his time playing pop songs, cuz in my oppinion that's all U2 is , is pop.

Queen's a good band..unfortunately U2 sucks, I hate them. I think their overrated, and now all they do is use their power to make themselves look better. By visiting Africa and such.

Assuming i have got the jist of what this thread is trying to start, yes, i like U2 aswell, but i havent heard quite as much of their older stuff, "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" and "Angel of Harlem" both rule though... and the song they did with B.B King ("when love comes to town" is the main line and may be the title of the song) was pretty cool in it's way

To be honest I'm not a big fan of U2 anymore, some of their latest things are not that great, Bono can't sing like he used to, the Edge still has it though, I only went to Slane to see the Edge and Queens of The Stone Age etc...

I respect U2 for their great music over the years, but their music doesn't really float my boat (sounds dirty, huh ). Its the kind of music i would listen to in the car with my dad, but not in my own cd-player. And my dad met the Edge like 10 years ago. Just thought i'd bragg about that.
