Well livin here in the great town of Springfield MO, we dont usually get a lot of big time concerts, so if i go to any i would more than likely have to drive to either St. Louis or Kansas City...Hopefully some more major acts come through here again soon, its been too damn long since i seen a concert...well i saw Papa Roach and TRUSTcompany last month, but before that it had been like 2 years...anyways hopefully i can go see some good shows this summer, we will just have to wait and see.

Check out the bands, it is in northern Minnesota(Walker). It looks to be a good time, got a camping lot reserved(Gotta go Air Conditioned, heat sucked ya know)

And Rolling Stones concert in Minneapolis in September. Sold out in about 5 minutes, and was lucky to get 4 tickets.

I'm thinking of maybe going to see Pearl Jam, because they're coming to town here.

But on the other hand, its $115, and I honestly haven't heard many of their songs, and ones that I have heard, I don't particularly like.

There haven't been any decent Metal concerts around here, which is unusal for VA.

But the biggest concert of the year is coming up and I'm thinking about going there as I went last year.

It's Lunatic Luau 9: The Monster. It's 15 bands, 10 hours of music.

Bands are:
Revery
Soilwork
Trivium
As I lay Dying
Ra
Submersed
Theory of a Deadman
Mastadon
Shadows Fall
Taproot
Killswitch Engage
Chevelle
Mudvayne
Rob Zombie (Headliner)
And then one local band to be announced

And this concert will be on July 28th, of course there only a few bands I really want to see/see again (Killswitch Engage, Mudvayne, Ra, Shadows Fall,Trivium) as the lineup isn't nearly as good as last year. Considering I haven't been to a concert since February (Slayer) it's abotu time for one.

Im going as well...should be awesome - i have attended every festival of the download series and each year has got better and better...(even tho its only the 3rd year!)

Looking forward to seeing so many bands...Megadeth, Alter Bridge, Trivium (probably the most with exception to Sabbath), Sabbath - Oh its gonna rock

Also what i like about this festival is thew signing tent...i have met some really cool guys in there before - including slipknot's corey taylor

I guess I'm covering the otherside of the spectrum, as myself and some friends are headed up to Lifest (a Christian Rock Festival) for like the 4th or 5th year in a row. It shares similarities with other Christian festivals in the midwest such as Cornerstone and Sonshinefest. It always proves to be a good time for us.

Other than that, I believe we are maknig it a point to check out the Foo Fighters once they begin touring for In Your Honor.

I am going absolutely NO WHERE

Pearl Jam is coming here to Ottawa, but thats sold out and I dont even like it. Theres no decent metal concerts here either. Aw well, I might go out somewhere and catch one, but not likely. Shitty.

hmmm, the only thing I've really got planned is my pals Otto's Daughter in a few weeks.
And then The Dresden Dolls in Fall and NIN around the same time.

I currently had a nice round of shows I attended though over the last few months:
NIN on 03.23.05 in Fresno
Garbage on 04.11.05 in Los Angeles
NIN and The Dresden Dolls, and many other bands on 05.01.05 from the Coachella Festival
NIN and The Dresden Dolls on 05.31.05 from the Soma in Los Angeles

all great shows, I'm not shocked I don't really have anything else coming up after those incredible shows.
