god i havent listened to the Fragile in what seems like forever...All i can really remember is that my favorite song is We're in this together now on (i believe) the left disk. I just heard trents new single today for the first time and i have to say i like it...it seems a lot more commercially acessable than a lot of the stuff off of the fragile, and i am definitely lookin forward to the new cd now.

I got to get the first offical preview of the album as I went and saw them kick off the tour with a warm up gig in Fresno, CA.

I liked the new material, and NIN once again put on a great fucking performance.

And every NIN album is new for NIN really...each album has something new and different to it.

I'm really looking forward to With Teeth and hearing the studio version of "You Know What You Are?" and "With Teeth."

Everyone picked up for the chorus at the show "Don't you fucking know what you are!" it was great.

And it's hard to beat a whole venue screaming the lyrics to Head Like a Hole...it's not my favorite NIN track- but people go off on that one.

Love the Nails...been a NIN fan going on my... 10th/11th year now.

Of all the CDs you've skipped of the major albums it was The Downward Spiral...you're on your way to being a quality nails fan.

Broken is probably my favorite Nails album, followed by Pretty Hate Machine. You should still deffinately pick up The Downward Spiral and "and All That Could Have Been" the deluxe edition. The live album and the "still" album of that collection are both great.

And if you decide to pick up a Nails remix album I suggest you start with "Further Down The Spiral." The mellow version of Eraser in my opinion is worth it right there.

The Fragile wasn't a very commecially accessable album...which is why it didn't really do that well for it's anticipation.

And yes, WITT is on the Left disc.

The Fragile took some time to grow on me to where I thoroughly enjoyed it. I think it's because even though so many years had passed without a full album from NIN, two discs of work created by Trent was just overwhelming and it took awhile to absorb it all to it's fullest.

While I do thoroughly love the Fragile (the Album) now, it still doesn't rank as my top NIN CD.

And yeah, NIN does have a shit-load of content.
My minimal collection goal with Nails is to own all the official US halos in all editions and formats, unless there is no official US halo, then I go for the import(s) to fill that slot.

I am currently up-to-date with all the US (and some imports) Halos and all their respective parts. Like We're In This Together which is a three parter.

Own the three editions of The Downward Spiral, individual (L+S) and deluxe edition of and All That Could Have Been. Nails is one of my greater inspirations in life...

Trent and Numbering his CDs...wise guy suckering the collector in me.

Default New NIN cd
I went to a cd preview party at a local club tonight to hear the new Nine Inch Nails cd, and I was really impressed. While the single is the catchiest song off the album, the whole album is well put together. It had some good beats and was something new for NIN.

It makes me all the more excited to see NIN in Austin in late May. I suggest anyone who was a previous fan of NIN or is interested in the music to pick up the cd when it comes out the first week of May.

Hey, thanks a bunch for the tips with what to get. NIN has a shit load of content out there, and sometimes I don't even know where to start, heheh. Right now I'm absolutely entranced with the instrumental song "Just Like You Imagined" on the left disc of The Fragile. Trent Reznor is a musical genius.
