They do have an album before 'Fallen' which has some otherwise unhear of songs and also a few earlier cuts of songs that made it onto their debut CD.

Well strictly the album before fallen WAS their debut CD. It got release but as said it is strangely hard to find.

They're writting a new studio album, Fallen was the first album, anywhere but home is the Live CD, With DVD, I Saw them Live they owned, Amy lee Is FitXCore x x x x

They're still around. Just one guy left the band after the first album. Their main guitarist and co-song writer. They've replaced him since then.

actually they have a album before Fallen I believe. Thing is, it's really hard to find...you have to find a place to download it...and Amy Lee doesn't want anyone downloading it. Weird stuff.

ok this really isnt my question, its this chic, whos my friend. she heard all these rumors the evanescence split up after there debut cd, and well needless to say she was pissed. well l8a on she was told tht it was just a rumor etc... well it kept goin back and 4th so we went on evanescecne website and looked to see if they were still active like with tours etc... and it said there currently makin a new cd. well she told tht to her friends and every1 is sayin tht the sites neva been updated in awhile and tht they were currently makin a new cd when they decided to split and they just neva put tht on the site...so basically what she wants to know is, is the rumor true tht they split, or is it false, there still around? thnx to all tht reply.
