if it is true i will be unhappy but i'm only really into their earlier stuff and i don't think they'll return to that style because i think they've matured but it still sucks

made me happy so many times listening to songs like first date, all the small things and loads others.

I like how nobody believed it even thought it is on their official site (and it's not near April yet so not April fools).
They're taking time off to spend time with family much like Green Day did not long ago.
Let them have the break, they've been spending a lot of time touring. Even with their short hiatus at the start of the 00s they were still doing music stuff.

Not that bothered really, they had a few good songs but I can live without them like.. shame though after such a long time of being a band.

Default Blink 182 Go Into Indefinite Hiatus .... (Is This The End)
Blink-182 have decided to split up after more than a decade of touring, non-stop promotion and recording hit albums.

A statement on their website read:

"For over a decade, Blink-182 has toured, recorded and done non-stop promotion all while trying to balance relationships with family and friends.

To that end, the band has decided to go on an indefinite hiatus to spend some time enjoying the fruits of their labors with their loved ones. While there is no set plan for the band to begin working together again, no one knows what tomorrow may bring." I Dont know about you but this sucks, i mean Blink 182 are brilliant on so many levels, there new stuff wasnt as good as say dude ranch but there has always been a band there that if you have had a bad day you can go and listen to and be cheered up, What is everyone's opinion....

it isn't made up. But Travis (the drummer) said that they are taking time off for other things (like sideprojects and family)...they did this in 2000 or 2002 when Tom and Travis did Boxcar Racer they'll be back.

Nicely put Nickelo.

I really used to like Blink, I mean as said before they really were a band that could cheer you up when you had a shitty day.

I for some reason don't think it's true...but if it is it's a sad day for the Pop-Punk world.

Later oN
