Quite a bit happened in the music industry in 2003, the whole Michael Jackson thing, debut of 50 Cent, the retirement of Jay-Z, and Beyonce's rise as solo. So what will it take for 2004 to beat this past one? There's a few anticipated albums coming out this year...
Dr. Dre- Finally Dre's third album is comin out, originally named Detox. Eminem- Follow up to Eminem Show is bound to debut at #1 on the charts, whether you like him or not you have to admit that it will sell. 50 Cent- Was it just fluke in 2003 or is he for real on the mainstream level, G-Unit album was a bit of a flop, but 50's next album should bring him back up. R. Kelly- Releasing another album, but his child porn trial might have an affect. Tupac- Yeh, another Tupac album comes out, but it's suppose to have all new material unlike most of the stuff that came out in 2003 with the exception of some new tracks on the Tupac Ressurection album. Beyonce- Had a good year, might be doin a Destiny's child CD too. Ol' Dirty Bastard- Out of jail, the Wu-Tang member has joined Roc-A-Fella records and has a new album this year. Other 'popular' artists with albums that are bein released this year: -Avril Lavigne ![]() -Coldplay ![]() -Nine Inch Nails ![]() -Beastie Boys ![]() -NSYNC ![]() -Sean Paul -Evanescence -Paris Hilton/Nicole Richie Which of these are you lookin forward to the most in 2004. If the album you're anticipating the most wasn't mentioned then just add it... Peace |
