I can tell you all you want to know if you intend on making it in a studio. Or is this something you're producing yourself?

Well first of all how do u make(if there is...no money involved)?

Is an MIDI Keyboard the main source for ur music beats?

well if u wanna put yourself out there right, you mite have to throw some money out there to get u known. mini sacrifices can pay off in the end. you would really need a little bit of studio time. get into a studio and lay some tracks and go for it.
