Anyone hear about who won the world kareoke championship?
My parents saw it in the local newspaper, the guy used to work at Suncorp which is a bank situated here in Australia. My brother used to play tennis with him as well. I just find it really strange on how my town holds the world Kareoke champion (not that I am boasting or anything ![]() Cheers Gareth. |

Hi Gareth,
You have every right to boast ![]() ![]() It's also on Google News ... and here: Karaoke World Championships 2006 Australian Trials . Pretty nifty prizes that go along with winning ... I didn't know this was such a popular sporting activity. |

Haha, ahhh kareoke has it's fun times. It's just that I don't understand how kareoke could be said to be some kind of talent? I mean, if it were a singing competition it would make more sense. But kareoke is just singing other peoples songs with a machine grading you... I think kareoke should be left for fun times in the basement with your mates singing your tone-deaf lungs out, and being happy with the machine telling you you scored an E.
