Using homosexual remarks in a derogatory manner is real mature too.

Annnnywayz. For the topic, I hear Jerry Cantrell might be comin' out with another album soon after he signs with a new label so I'll be looking forward to that. If Silverchair comes out with another album -- I'll be interested in that too.

Peace.

How about Metallica's follow-up to their critically acclaimed St. Anger album? LmaO, I couldn't resist. Only kidding metal fans.

There's a big difference between having limited music knowledge and just avoiding other types of music. I know everything about G&R, but they're not my favourites...

Most of the bands that RiG listens to are instrumentally gifted, wether you like metal or not is not really relevant.
You need more than just limited music knowledge to appreciate that kind of music.

The point is he bashes anything just about that's not metal while we don't sit here and bash his music.

Also FYI, I wouldn't say his music knowledge is expansive just because he listens to the metal bands he does. I know quite a few people who listen to the same bands but they don't do it because they're musically knowledgable; they do it because they think it's cool to scream and headbang along -_-.

Peace.
That's odd. I know tons of hardcore metal fans who insanely focus on instrumental talent, especially those guys from the Underground CD stores. I've only seen very few of that kind you're talking about, and surprise surprise, they're all Nu-metal fans.

I've got a similar taste in metal but still listen to just about any other genre.
Owned.

my most anticipated is Black Label society's new one.

Zakk wyle will be doing his own acoustic album sometime this year, but in november, he'll be entering the studio to record the next BLS album.

awesome

Maybe someday you'll break out of your limited music knowledge and understand why.
Heh.. the limited knowledge this guy has of music is actually quite good music if you ask me. Jerry Cantrell rocks, why dont ya pull the steele plates outta your ears n tune into some other sounds?
You say it's good, he says it's good, what is that supposed to mean to me? Absolutely nothing.

More insults by inept people. That would be the #1 reason why I even come here: To laugh at most of you.

Ghostface Killah - The Pretty Tony Album(i guarantee this will be the best hip hop album of 2004)

Organized(Pharaohe Monch, Prince Po, and O.C....there is no way this album can be wack)

Kanye West - College Dropout(the advance is hot, i wonder what the retail will sound like)

Masta Killa - No Said Date(been waiting since '93 for masta to drop something)

Method Man - Tical 0: The Prequel(meth always brings something nice to the table)

X-Ecutioners - No Title(my 3 favorite DJ's....they always sound dope cutting up tracks)

Redman - TBA(i hope he can redeem himself after that wack attempt at an album in 2002...or was it 2001?)

Tony Touch - The piecemaker vol.2(the sampler was pretty good, can't wait)

Mobb Deep - Amerikaz Nightmare(the free agents mixtape was hot, hopefully this is better)

KRS One - Down To A Science(even if it is wack i'm still gonna buy it)

Science Fiction - One Day Everything Changed(haven't heard much about this, but it should be worth the $20 imma throw down for the record)

MF Doom & Madlib - Madvillan(this is a dope record, can't wait till it's released)

this is gonna be a damn good year for real hip hop, i'm gonna buy every one of those LP's i named...im gonna try and stop downloading tracks too

oops, almost forgot about Common's new LP....supposed to have Kanye West producing some songs, no doubt this album will be a gem

damn, and i forgot to list the new Royce The 5'9"...so far it sounds NICE! has a couple of Premier produced tracks on it

SUM 41 is the only one I'm looking foreward to, if anything. But I don't know what else is coming out this year, so maybe there's other good ones coming out too that I'll hear about later. I'd really like to see Green Day release a new album sometime soon, they haven't had a new CD since like 2000, or 2001, I'm going to check into that, now that I think about it.
