i think they made a big impact on the rock group. they made like 15 or more records and had a guitarist go to rehab (surprise)) well i love there work bu there music can sometimes sound the same but i think its more in there lead singer

Love RHCP to death.

By the way they have only had 9 albums, their first guitarist died, and their leader singer, Anthony Kiedis, also was in rehab.

no there guitarist went to rehab and while he was in there they had a replacement and when he got back from rehab he just picked up and sorry about the spelling and the albums and i have the a book on them. hey you rhcp lovers should go to youtube and watch the biography on them that BIO did

Ok you are talking about John Frusciante, who is their current guitarist. Yes he went to rehab, and they went through a few different guitarists.

Their very first guitarist, Hillel Slovak, died of a overdose in 1988.
